Crucible Marks

"Crucible Marks can be used to purchase Legendary weapons and armor in the Tower."

These items are crucible rewards used to purchase equipment from the crucible handler, crucible quartermaster, dear orbit, future war cult, iron banner and new monarchy vendors.

With The Taken King and Update 2.0 Legendary Marks have now replaced Crucible Marks.
