Future War Cult (FWC) is one of the
factions players can join in
Destiny. The FWC is known for its paramilitary nature and secrecy. You can gain rep with this faction by purchasing a
Class Armor item from their
Vendor Lakshmi-2 , equipping it and completing
Patrol missions and mission from the
Strike Playlist. You will not receive
Vanguard rep with one of these items equipped and you must be level 20 to equip these items.

The FWC was selected to replace the Concordat faction in the Consensus. They were granted access to the Tower in an effort to both attract previous Concordat members and aid with their militaristic philosophy in the Guardian's efforts to protect the City.

Story
The exact beginnings of the FWC are unknown, but findings suggest that they may have existed since as early as the Golden Age. The members of this Cult have a strong belief that war with the Darkness is inevitable and that they must be prepared to put up a fight.
