In Destiny, SURPLUS is a Weapon Upgrade that can be found on Special and Heavy Weapons in the game. Weapons in Destiny pull each Upgrade at random from specific pools (with a few Weapons that are an exception). This upgrade doubles the amount of ammo you pick up. It is only available on Special and Heavy Weapons.
