You can gain rep with this faction by purchasing a Class Armor item from their Vendor Arach Jalaal, equipping it and completing Patrol missions and mission from the Strike Playlist. You will not receive Vanguard rep with one of these items equipped and you must be level 20 to equip these items.

Story
Dead Orbit seeks to escape the current war and dilemma, and find new homes outside of the Solar System. Their belief is that salvation lies not in reviving the Traveler but in abandoning the Solar System in search of new worlds.
