( Note: this Upgrade was reduced 4% in Patch 1.0.1)
As of the October 14th hotfix (1.0.2.2), this cannot spawn with the Shot Package perk on shotguns.


In Destiny, RANGEFINDER is a Weapon Upgrade that can be found on nearly every Weapon in the game. Weapons in Destiny pull each Upgrade at random from specific pools (with a few Weapons that are an exception). This Upgrade increases your weapon's range, effectively increasing your damage at longer distances.
