In Destiny, CUSTOM OPTICS is an Enhancement Upgrade that can be found on Rare and Legendary Weapons in the game. Weapons in Destiny pull each Upgrade at random from specific pools (with a few Weapons that are an exception). This Upgrade adds +0.5x zoom to the weapon. To find your total zoom, check the Base Zoom of the weapon type, add the zoom of the Sight or Scope and add 0.5x for this Upgrade.
