Causes rounds to penetrate targets

ARMOR PIERCING ROUNDS is an Enhancement Upgrade that can be found on Rare and Legendary Weapons in Destiny. It causes the Guardian's bullets to go through the first target fired upon and hitting subsequent targets behind it.


Round Upgrades can change the mag size, impact and stability of the Weapons they inhabit. Round Upgrades are only available on Rare, Legendary and Exotic Weapons. Below is a list of the Round Upgrades that can be bestowed upon pickup. Upgrades will never be found outside of their pools, excepting in the case of Weapons with static upgrades. Exotic Weapons have static upgrades.

Note: Rocket Launchers cannot receive Round Upgrades.
Note: ALL Rare, Legendary and Exotic Machine Guns or Shotguns come with this Upgrade path.

Volatile payload explodes on impact, dealing a portion of the weapon's damage in an area.
Fieldwire_Rounds.png FIELDWIRE ROUNDS Rare_and_Legendary.png
A charged fieldwire jacket enhances Impact.
Colony_Rounds.png COLONY ROUNDS Rare_and_Legendary.png
These smart rounds have swarm intelligence, allowing you to carry more in reserve and enhancing Impact.

This compact, lightweight ammunition allows you to carry many more rounds n reserve.

Oversize rounds built to stagger targets and leave them reeling. Their mass makes a weapon harder to handle.
Skip_Rounds.png SKIP ROUNDS Rare_and_Legendary.png
Ceramic-jacketed rounds ricochet on hard surfaces. Their extreme density lets you carry more rounds in reserve. Added mass slows down weapon handling.
