Background
The tower is the hub location in Destiny and home to the player character Guardians. Players will be able to remove their helmets and enter a third person view mode for interacting with others. It is the tallest structure inside the CIty and is designed to be highly futuristic, shining, and bright.
Features
In between exploration and combat, players can return to the Tower to interact with others, visit vendors, turn in quests, and visit class specific areas. It also features a hangar that holds Guardians' spaceships.

- Postmaster: Deliveries and messages are left with the postmaster to be collected by Guardians when their travels bring them home
- Gunsmith: Sells and repairs weapons
- Crucible Quartermaster: Sells equipment for Crucible mode games
- Crucible Handler: Sells weapons and upgrades for Crucible mode games
- Warlock Vanguard: Tutors new Warlocks / Sells equipment
- Hunter Vanguard: Tutors new Hunters / Sells equipment
- Titan Vanguard: Tutors new Titans / Sells equipment
- Shipwright: The Shipwrights of the Tower repaid and recommission the ships of the City's Guardians.
- Cryptarch: converts engrams for the player
